2. One zone not heating Zone disabled locally or remotely Enable the zone.
Zone temperature setpoint too low Adjust the temperature setting.
Blown fuses Check fuses and replace as needed.
Problem in hose or applicator Refer to the applicator manual.
3. Pump stroking

Adhesive temperature too low Check the temperature settings.
Pump pressure check valve in
piston assembly not sealing
Remove the pump and inspect the
pressure check valve.
4. Pump stroking too
fast (little or no
adhesive output)
Adhesive level too low Refer to Fill System Troubleshooting
in this section to troubleshoot fill
system problems.
Shutoff valve closed Open the shutoff valve.
Pressure discharge valve defective Replace the pressure discharge
valve. Refer to Replacing a
Hydraulics Assembly Component in
Section 8, Repair.
Pump siphon check valve not
sealing
Remove the pump and inspect the
siphon check valve.
NOTE A: The pump should make two regularly spaced exhaust sounds. If you hear two exhaust sounds followedby
a pause, the pump is stroking erratically (the hydraulic shaft is moving faster in one
directionthantheother).
