To install the touchscreen assembly
See Figure 8‐19.
1. Use the two screws (1) removed previously to loosely attach the
replacement touchscreen assembly to the melter chassis.
2. Reconnect all of the power and control cables to the replacement
touchscreen assembly.
3. Connect the touchscreen assembly ground wire to the ground
connection(2) on the melter chassis.
4. Close the touchscreen assembly as follows:
a.. Lift the assembly up, push it back towards the chassis, and then let it
drop onto the pins.
b.. Tighten the touchscreen assembly screws (1).
5. Reinstall the controls cover and restore the system to normal operation.
