To close the hydraulics assembly
1. Push up on pump.
2. When the assembly is upright, allow the spring‐loaded pin to
automatically catch the assembly.
3. Make sure the insulation is securely wrapped around the hydraulics
assembly.
4. Reinstall the hydraulics cover.
To calibrate the level sensor
NOTE: Before calibrating the level sensor, complete the steps under the
following procedures:
To heat the system and disable the fill system
To relieve system pressure
To purge the melter
To make sure the adhesive hopper is empty
To close the hydraulics assembly
1. Verify that the Fill Status button on the Home screen indicates Disabled.
2. On the Home screen, touch Master Controls > Settings > Fill > Fill
Calibration.
3. On the Fill Calibration screen, touch Calibrate Level Sensor Empty.
4. Touch Yes to confirm that the melter is empty, then touch Calibrate to
begin the calibration.
When the calibration is complete, a pop‐up message appears.
5. Enable the fill system and restore the system to normal operation.

Note: Fill Level calibration should be performed with the
melter at setpoint temperature.
To calibrate the level sensor, lower melter adhesive level until the
grid fins are exposed. Refer to the manual for a detailed fill
calibration procedure. Press the Empty Calibrate button below to set
the empty level of the unit.
