Flash Sequence Type Number of Flashes Corrective Action
Red flash sequences
(faults)
1 flash: overfill fault The unit did not fill in the allowed time. Check the
adhesive level in the bin. Check the hose lines
for blockage. Increase the Overfill Delay value.
2 flashes: blown fuse The fuse supplying 24 VDC to the outputs is
blown. Find and correct the source of the
excessive current draw and replace the fuse (2 A
maximum).
3 flashes: cable shorted There is a problem with the level sensor cable. If
the level sensor was calibrated, replace the
sensor. If the level sensor needs calibration,
refer to Calibrating the Level Sensor earlier in
this section to calibrate it. If the fault persists,
replace the level sensor and/or the level sensor
cable.
4 flashes: no oscillation The fill board is defective. Replace the fill board.
5 flashes: write to flash
memory failed
The fill board was not able to store calibration
settings. Replace the fill board if the fault
persists.
Yellow flash sequences
(alerts)
1 flash: pressure switch
open
Check the transfer hose solenoid harness for
open circuits. Repair or replace the harness as
needed.
2 flashes: adhesive bin
power cable
disconnected
Check the the transfer hose solenoid harness
connections.
3 flashes: unit tilted Make sure the hydraulics section is in the upright
and locked position. If the alert persists, check
the tilt switch for proper alignment.
4 flashes: sensor
unplugged
Reconnect or tighten the level sensor cable
connections. If the alert persists, refer to
Calibrating the Level Sensor earlier in this
section to calibrate the level sensor. If the alert
still persists, replace the level sensor.
5 flashes: noisy sensor
signal
Reconnect or tighten the level sensor cable
connections. If the alert persists, replace the
level sensor, level sensor cable, and/or the fill
board.
6 flashes:
communications
heartbeat warning
Check the NordBus cable. If the alert persists,
replace the NordBus cable and/or the fill board.
