NOTE: Nordson Corporation recommends installing an isolation valve in the
plant air supply line just before the melter.
4. Open the plant air supply to the melter.
5. Turn the pump air pressure adjustment screw clockwise to set the
melter's operating air pressure (the pressure supplied to the pump) to
1.4bar (20psi). The operating air pressure can be adjusted later to meet
the requirements of the manufacturing process.
NOTE: The minimum operating air pressure is 0.7 bar (10 psi).
Operating the melter with the air pressure set to less than 0.7 bar (10 psi)
can cause the pump to function erratically.
