If any measurement is out of specification, replace
solenoid.
Dynamic Test
Disconnect spark plug cables and
connect them
on grounding device.
NOTE: This is done to avoid engine starting.

1. Grounding device
Depress start/stop button and while engine is
cranking, measure the voltage drop as follows
with a multimeter.

If voltage is out of specification, replace solenoid.
Electrical Cables or Connections
Check all connections, grounds, cables and wires.
Tighten any loose cables. Replace any chafed
wires.
