Problem Corrective Action
The AutomaticQC
cartridge fails to
eject.
1. Check that the connector is completely open and then select
Replace to eject the cartridge.
2. Select
Diagnostics > Cartridges > Eject AQC Cartridge.
NOTE: If you are not able to replace the cartridge, in Setup,
turn the AutomaticQC option off to continue analyzing patient
samples.
3. If the problem persists, call for technical assistance.
Problem Corrective Action
The valve in the
reagent cartridge
fails to move to the
correct position.
1. Select
Diagnostics > Pumps and Valves > R Valve.
2. Select
Diagnostics > Cartridges > Eject Reagent
Cartridge
.
3. If the problem persists, replace the reagent cartridge.
4. If the problem persists, call for technical assistance.
Problem Corrective Action
The waste detector
is out of range
during a system
calibration.
1. Select
Diagnostics > Waste Detector.
2. Select
Status > Shutdown to shut down the system.
3. Wait 10 seconds, and then turn the system on.
4. If the problem persists, call for technical assistance.
Problem Corrective Action
A full or empty
waste bottle was
inserted at the
wrong time during
waste bottle
calibration.
• Select
Diagnostics > Waste Detector.
Be sure to insert the waste bottle either full or empty at the
appropriate times during the calibration.
• If the problem persists, call for technical assistance.
