AQC Cartridge
Not Valid
The system detects that the newly
installed AutomaticQC cartridge
has exceeded its expiration date,
that a used cartridge was
reinstalled, or that the cartridge
was installed without starting
from the Status screen.
Replace the cartridge. Refer to
Replacing the AutomaticQC
Cartridge‚ page 2-3.
To continue analyzing patient
samples if you are not able to
replace the cartridge, turn off the
AutomaticQC option in Setup.
For information about setting up
the AutomaticQC options, refer
to Setting up AutomaticQC
Schedule‚ page 8-5.
AQC
Connector is
Open
The system detects that the
connector on the AutomaticQC
cartridge is open.
Slide the connector to the left to
close it.
Additional Cal
Required
A sensor experienced a
calibration error and the system
repeated the calibration to correct
the error.
This message is displayed in the
printed report.
Additional
Wash Required
1. Wash reagent fails Optical
Clarity Test.
2. Operator Error: sample
device is not removed before
sample endpoints.
A change in transmittance was
detected after a CO-ox sample
analysis. The system repeated the
wash to attempt to correct the
error.
If the repeated wash fails again,
the system displays a D70
Optical Error: 2 message.
The sample device was not
removed before the sample
endpoints.
Bubbles in
Sample
Bubbles in the sample can occur
if the sample contained bubbles
or if you introduce the jagged end
of capillary tubes into the sample
port. The message displays on
the printed report.
If the system detects bubbles
before measurement begins, it
prompts you to analyze the
sample as a microsample.
If the system detects bubbles
during sample measurement, it
prompts you to inspect the
sample for bubbles and
determine whether to complete
the analysis and report results, or
cancel analysis.
