7.1.1 Switching power supply 40 V off and on
The power supply of the carriage (step motors, selection systems, yarn
carrier plunger) can be switched off for assembling works. This eliminates
the switching off and on of the main machine switch and thereby the waiting
time until the computer of the knitting machine has shut down and rebooted.
The machine cannot be started with the engaging rod when the power
supply is switched off.
