7.3.7 Removing carriage part
Carriage assembly The machine has two carriage assemblies, one on the front needle bed and
one on the rear needle bed. The carriage assembly consists of the following
components:
Screws at the carriage part
Screws at the carriage part
1 Carriage support.
It is connected to the toothed belt of the main drive.
2 Carriage part.
It can be removed from the machine for replacing cams or if the carriage
part blocks.
The carriage part is mounted on the carriage support.
3 Cam plate.
The cams are mounted on it.
The cam plate is mounted on the bottom side of the carriage part.
1 Adjusting screws for the carriage part.
Do not loosen or remove any adjusting screws ever!
2 Screws to separate carriage part and carriage support
IMPORTANT
Adjusting screws!
If adjusting screws are loosen, the carriage part must be
newly adjusted by a Stoll service technician.
Do not loosen any adjusting screws (1).
