7.3.15 Replacing yarn carrier
To be able to exchange a yarn carrier the complete yarn carrier rail must be
removed from the machine.
Dismantle the light curtain Perform the following tasks at the light curtain on both sides of the machine.
1. Open the covers and push all the yarn carriers of the corresponding rail
to their outmost position, the front yarn carriers to the left, the rear yarn
carriers to the right.
2. Switch off main switch.
3. Dismantle the cover of the light curtain.
For this remove the screws at the under side of the profile rail and at the
rear side of the cover.
4. Mark the position of the supports before dismantling the light curtain to
be able to assemble them at the same position.
5. Remove the screws (1).
6. Place the light curtain carefully on the sliding board.
