4.2 Advanced adjustments
4.2.14 Adjust the yarn carriers
The optimal adjustment of the yarn carrier depends:
on the centering of the yarn carrier tip.
It is correctly adjusted if it is located exactly between both needle beds.
on the height of the yarn carrier
If one of both settings are incorrect, there will be errors in the fabric or the
needles will be damaged.
For you to be able to adjust the yarn carrier optimally we recommend the
following sequence:
1. Check centering [ 173].
2. Center yarn carrier tip [ 176].
3. Adjust the height of the yarn carrier [ 178].
Checking the centering
1. From the "Main menu" call up the "Service" window.
2. Tap the "Adjustment of yarn carriers" key.
