2.4.3 Step motor for adjusting the stitch tension
Step motor for adjusting the stitch tension
A step motor (1) on each knitting system adjusts the stitch tension. The step
motor is controlled by the knitting program.
The stitch tension can be adjusted individually
for individual areas in the fabric which are particularly subject to loading,
e.g. narrowing edges or pattern motifs
for individual stitch cams
for different yarns (yarn count correction)
During knitting, changes can also be made via the touch screen.
