5.9.2 User Stopwatch
The user stopwatch is located just below the fader stopwatch. It is controlled
by two keys (START and STOP) below the central screen, next to the digits of
the user stopwatch display, as illustrated below.
START always (re-) starts the user stopwatch from zero. While it is running,
the display background turns black. STOP stops the user stopwatch. Pressing
STOP a second time resets it to zero.
5.9.3 Fader Stopwatches
Global Fader Stopwatch The upper one of the two stopwatches on the central screen is called the global
fader stopwatch.
The global fader stopwatch is controlled by the channel fader(s) for which
the Timer Start option has been enabled in the configuration tool (refer to
chapter 6.5.1).
It always restarts at 00:00:00 (hh:mm:ss) when any of the enabled channels
is switched on while its fader is opened, or vice versa. It stops when the fader
is closed or when the channel is switched off.
The label of the logical input that has started the stopwatch is indicated next to
the stopwatch on the central screen (such as CD 1, as illustrated at the left).
Input Fader Stopwatches Individual input fader stopwatches are available as well. If the Timer Start
option is enabled for a channel by configuration, as mentioned above, the
lower line of the label field on the channel screen indicates the input fader
stopwatch as soon as the channel is on (i.e. fader open and channel switched
ON).
There are two different operating modes for the input fader stopwatches:
Cumulative time measurement; a running stopwatch is stopped by switch-
ing the channel OFF; it is reset only when the fader is closed.
Absolute time measurement; the timer is always reset before starting.
These modes are selected in the configuration tool, under Config – Settings
– Reset Timer On Fader Close – on/off (see chapter 6.5.14).
As long as an input is selected with the SEL key, its input fader stopwatch
is also displayed on the central screen instead of the global fader stopwatch,
and, if installed, on an extended monitoring module, together with this logical
input’s label.
Display Range Both the global and the fader stopwatches can display a time range of up to
23:59:59. Should this value be exceeded, any of the stopwatches restarts at
00:00:00.
