6.5.20.3 Define Logical Inputs, Patch Inputs, Ext. PFLs, or Ext. Monitoring Sources
Using the conguration tool on the target system, select I/O Sharing - Logical
Connections - LogicalInputs (or PatchInputs, ExternPFLs, or Extern-
MonSrc) and select a logical input with the Horizontal rotary encoder (Logi-
cal In 2 in the example below). Then dene a source for it by rst touching
the Source eld that is, in our case, still empty (indicated by a “-” dash).
A pop-up menu lists the names of all systems that are connected via physical
connections (in our case, System27 and Star DEMO 5OG) to select from,
as shown above. After having selected System27, a list of source groups to
select from pops up, as shown below.
When selecting, e.g., Logical Inputs of System27, the available inputs are
displayed, as shown in the next screenshot.
