4.5.2 Monitoring / Talkback Controls
The monitoring and TB controls are used for the the DJ headphone and the
built-in PFL/TB speaker, direct access to the monitoring sources and exter-
nal sources, for talkback to destinations different from the N–X buses and
for definable talkback groups. A 6.3 mm TRS jack for the DJ headphones is
integrated as well.
Talkback to the PRG and Record outputs is possible as well if keys are config-
ured accordingly, but, for safety reasons, only if used together with a SLATE
key that must be configured in addition.
The ON AIR, CR and ST lamps indicate red light for open microphones. Next
to these lamps a talkback microphone is installed.
4.6 Central Screen
OnAir 2500
The central screen includes the central TFT touch screen and four rotary
encoders. Two keys are provided for the user stop watch control. At the left
of the central screen a USB slot is available for saving snapshots to or for
recalling them from a USB memory stick.
