encoder below the Offset Time field in a ±12 hours range with a resolution of
30 minutes. In all other modes just enter the temporary offset with the rotary
encoder. To activate the temporary offset, touch Apply.
5.3.8.5 (Admin) Config Page
If the User has access rights to the system configuration, the Config menu
button is displayed.
Config GUI – Start Config Touching the Start Config button opens the configuration tool.
Start-up Config – Save All If the new configuration as a whole has to be saved as start-up configuration,
touch the Save All button.
Start-up Config - Save IOSharing / Save User
If only a modified I/O sharing or user configuration has to be saved, touch
the Save IOSharing or Save User button, respectively.
External Media Save / Load The External Media Save / Load buttons allow saving or loading con-
figurations to or from a USB memory device. As long as no memory device
is inserted in the central screen’s USB socket, these two buttons are displayed
in gray, as shown above.
Auto Config - I/O / Desk / GPIO Init
For details of auto configuration and the general configuration procedure and
parameters, please refer to chapter 6.
Important! System configuration is intended for use by trained personnel (such as the
system administrator) only. Great care shall be applied when using it.
When auto configuration is started inadvertently, the current console
configuration will immediately be overwritten. However, the previous con-
figuration may be rescued by powering the console off and on again, as
long as none of the Save buttons has been used before. Nevertheless it is
recommended to have a backup of the current configuration files available
on an external memory media (for details see chapter 6.3).
External Media Save does not save the “working” configuration, but
