3.2.10 Fireman Microphone
The Fireman Microphone SHM 1 is a small compact microphone dedicated to EVAC calling. It is a
totally monitored microphone with internal resistor network to detect four different states(Shortcut,
Closed Contact, Open Contact, Absent).
3.2.10.1 Configuration
The Fireman microphone needs to be configured by using the Fireman component in Ateis Studio.
Most of time Fireman component is working with Network Paging component, in such settings,
fireman microphone is able to paging. See Fireman component for details.
3.2.11 ANM
The ANM ensures that paging announcements and music playback are audible even during periods
of high noise levels by continuously monitoring the ambient noise level. The ANM is designed to
monitor and adjust the level of public address announcements based on a measure of the ambient
noise in the PA zone. ANM will maintain a set volume of public address audio above the background
noise, in order to guarantee that the announcement is intelligible, yet at a comfortable level.
The ANM can be controlled by the following IDA8, ECS, UAP G2, LAP G2 and LAP G2T
processor.
The ANM can be worked by using the A.N.G component.
