SMTP xxx Data Fail (xxx = ip address)
EVAC Input Error
The voltage of EVAC input is not in the range (when
the evacuation input is set to "contact mode").
Check the Evacuation Input
connection on the rear panel of IDA8
processor.
Local AteisNet
Broken
Both local ATEIS net card port A & B connection
broken
1. Check if the cables are connected
tightly and correctly.
2. Try to replace RJ45/fiber cable for
testing purpose.
3. Check the netcard port LED s
blinking. If not blinking, please
replace netcard.
4. Reboot the machine and check if
the communication is normal.
Global AteisNet
Broken
This fault happens when one or more IDA8C's or
IDA8S's over Ateis Net lose the connection.
Fireman Error
The fireman microphone has an error.
1. Check if the cable between
fireman mic and IDA8 processor
is connected tightly and correctly.
2. Try to replace other fireman mic
for testing purpose.
VOX@NET
Offline
The IDA8C/S can't communicate with the
VOX@NET software.
1. Check the Ethernet connection of
IDA8.
2. Check the Ethernet connection of
Voxnet server.
Redundancy
Error
1. It shows "Backup Device Offline" when a backup
device can't communicate.
2. It shows "Operation Mode Fail" for:
RU device is turned off.
The incorrect wiring between the RU and the
IDA8.
1. If it's a [Backup Device Offline],
check the Ethernet connection on
both primary and secondary unit.
2. If it's a [Operation Mode Fail],
check whether the primary and
secondary role are reversed in the
redundancy configuration. If not,
check the state of P_ACT and
S_ACT contact output, the
P_ACT should be short and
S_ACT should be open.
URGP16I160
Fault
There is an monitoring error in URGP16I160 device
due to the reasons of out of tolerance.
Check if the fault input pins and
evacuation pins on URGP16I16O
are connected correctly and does
not loosen.
Remote Offline
The peripheral devices (PSS-AS/PPM-AS/URC-
150AS/...) can't communicate with the IDA8C/S.
1. Check the remote connection.
2. Re-plug RJ45 cable from PDC
port.
3. Try to connect the remote using
other PDC port.
4. Try to change a remote unit for
testing purpose.
5. Reboot machine.
URGP Fault
The URGP device monitor is out of tolerance
1. Check fault input pins on URGP.
2. Check the evacuation pins on
URGP.
Remote Fault
There is a hardware error of peripheral devices,
such as the microphone capsule/speaker on a
PSS.
1. If it's a [Microphone Fault], try to
live paging and check whether the
volume is too loud or too low. If
yes, please replace the unit. If not,
please reboot IDA8 and remote
unit.
2. If it's a [Speaker Fault], try to play
the music and check whether the
volume is too loud or too low. If
yes, please replace the unit. If not,
please reboot IDA8 and remote
unit.
Ethernet Remote
Offline
The connection with remote such as TerraManager
has lost.
1. Check the Ethernet connection of
IDA8.
