3.6 Side semi-continuous power take-off
A side semi-continuous PTO is provided to drive the attachable machines.
The installation location of the side semi-continuous PTO on the tractor is shown in Figure 3.6.1.

The side semi-continuous PTO is mounted in separate housing 1 (Figure 3.6.2),
which is attached to the left side plane of the gearbox instead of the cover. The PTO is driven
from the gear of the shaft of gearbox 1

speed and reverse through movable gear 2, which
is moved by carrier 6 along the splines of the shaft.
The side PTO is turned on and off with the coupling clutch disengaged by means of
rod 3. The on or off position of movable gear 2 is fixed by means of fixing plate 5, which
interacts with lever 4.

When mounting some attachable machines, the side semi-continuous PTO should be
removed by unscrewing five M12x35 bolts and two M12x45 bolts. Then install the gearbox
cover in its place, which is attached to the tractor spare parts and accessories kit. When rein-
stalling the side semi-continuous PTO, no adjustments are required.
ATTENTION: WHEN REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE SIDE SEMI-CONTINUOUS
PTO, MAKE SURE LINK 3 IS IN THE LOWER POSITION (PTO IS OFF)!
