2.16.2 Operating grips of the hydraulic hook or lowering link
A tractor with a draft control can be equipped with a trailed hydraulic hook (hydraulic
hook) on request. The hydraulic hook is intended to work with semi-trailers and agricultural ma-
chines on their basis.
1 – handle to control grippers of hydraulic hook; 2 – control link; 3 – grips; 4 – hook
with pin; 5 – lifting rods.
Figure 2.16.3 – Hydraulic hook control diagram
Attachment of agricultural machines to the hydraulic hook is carried out in the follow-
ing way:
- using handle 1 (Figure 2.16.3), which is installed in the cab, turn grips 3 through
control link 2, releasing hook pin 4;
- by putting the RLL to the lower position with the draft control handle, lower hook 4
below the level of the eyelet of the coupled machine;
- slowly drive up to the position when the opening of hook 4 is under the eyelet and
by lifting the RLL to the upper position, secure the pin of hook 4 in grips 3.
To disconnect the agricultural machine from the hydraulic hook, you need to:
- take handle 1 to the upper position;
- lower the RLL and drive the tractor forward;
- raise the RLL to the upper position, secure hook pin 4 in grips 3.
A tractor with a draft control can be optionally equipped with a lowering link designed
for connection to semi-trailed and trailed agricultural machines.
Attachment and detachment of agricultural machines to/from the lowering link is car-
ried out in the same way as to/from the hydraulic hook.
