3.8 Pneumatic system
3.8.1 General information
The basic configuration of the BELARUS-892/892.2 tractors includes a single-line pneumatic
brake drive for agricultural machines attached to the tractor, as well as for tire inflation and other pur-
poses where compressed air power is required. On request, your tractor can be equipped with a com-
pressor with a valve or a compressor without a valve.
ATTENTION: ON THE BELARUS-892/892.2 TRACTORS, BEFORE CONNECTING OR DIS-
CONNECTING THE PNEUMATIC LINES OF THE TRACTOR AND THE AGRICULTURAL MACHINE
ATTACHED TO THE TRACTOR, ENGAGE THE PARKING BRAKE! THE CONNECTION OF THE
PNEUMATIC LINES OF THE TRACTOR AND THE AGRICULTURAL MACHINE MUST BE CAR-
RIED OUT IN THE ABSENCE OF PRESSURE IN THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM OF THE TRACTOR!
ATTENTION: ADJUSTMENT OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM AND THE BRAKE DRIVE OF THE
AGRICULTURAL MACHINE ATTACHED TO THE TRACTOR, AS WELL AS THE ELIMINATION OF
MALFUNCTIONS THEREIN SHOULD BE MADE WITH A NON-RUNNING ENGINE AND IN A HOR-
IZONTAL POSITION OF THE TRACTOR, WHICH MUST BE SECURED WITH CHOCKS PUT UN-
DER THE WHEELS TO EXCLUDE SPONTANEOUS MOVEMENT OF THE TRACTOR!
3.8.2 Single-line pneumatic drive
3.8.2.1 Operation of single-line pneumatic drive.
The single-line pneumatic drive provides brake control for agricultural machines, at-
tached to the tractor and equipped with a single-line pneumatic brake drive, as well as for
tire inflation. The diagram of the pneumatic drive is shown in Figure 3.8.1.
1 - pneumatic compressor; 2 - pressure regulator; 3 - air bleed valve; 4 - air pressure
indicator; 5 – condensate removal valve; 6 - tank; 7 - connecting head; 8 - connecting line;
9 - pipeline; 10 - pressure sensor; 11 - emergency pressure sensor; 12 - warning lamp of
emergency pressure; 13 - brake valve.
