The diagram for turning on the side semi-continuous PTO is shown in Figure 2.14.4, and is
also given in the instruction plate on the left side under the glass in the tractor cab.

ENGINE KILLED, OR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AND THE CLUTCH PEDAL DE-
PRESSED!
The side semi-continuous PTO has two rotational speeds at rated engine speed:
- 721 rpm - with the high pass of the gearbox increasing gear (“hare”) turned on;
- 618 rpm - with the low pass of the gearbox increasing gear ("turtle") turned on.
2.15 Hydraulic lift linkage control
2.15.1 General information
The HLL control elements include control handles for remote cylinders and RLL, parts
for controlling the HLL pump and a lever for fixing the RLL mechanism in the transport po-
sition.
The BELARUS-892/892.2 tractors can be equipped with the R80-3/4-222 distributor
or the RP70-1221.1S or RP70-1221.1S distributor or the RS-213 BELARUS distributor.
2.15.2 HLL pump control
HLL pump switching shaft 1 (Figure 2.15.1) has two positions:
- “shaft on” – shaft 1 is turned contraclockwise against the stop;
- “shaft off” – shaft 1 is turned clockwise against the stop.
Before turning shaft 1 to any of two positions, loosen bolt 2 by 1,5…2 revolutions and
turn shaft 1 together with a locking plate. Tighten bolt 2.
The HLL pump activation diagram is given in Figure 2.15.1, as well as in the instruc-
tion shield on the lower part of the cab front wall.
