2.16 Controls of rear lift linkage and grippers of hydraulic hook or lowering link
2.16.1 Rear lift linkage control
On the BELARUS-892/892.2 tractors, a draft control unit is installed, which provides
the possibility of draft, position and depth control of agricultural implements;
The controls of the draft control unit, which provides the possibility of draft, position and
depth control of agricultural implements, are shown in Figure 2.16.1.
1 - travel limiter of the control handle of draft control unit; 2 – control handle of draft control
unit; 3 - switch for draft and position control methods; 4 - handwheel of the correction speed con-
troller; 5 - cover.
Figure 2.16.1 - Controls of the draft control unit with the possibility of draft, position and
depth regulation of agricultural implements
The draft control unit is controlled by handle 2 (Figure 2.16.1). First, you should set the
control method - draft, position or depth control.
Handle 2 has the following positions:
- "N" - "Neutral" (fixed position);
- "Uplift" - rearmost position (non-fixed). Hold the handle with your hand until the imple-
ment is raised to the required height. After releasing the handle, it will return to "Neutral";
- "Forced lowering" - foremost position (non-fixed). Hold the handle until the implement
is lowered to the required value. After the handle is released, it returns to the end of the control
zone (intermediate "Neutral").
- "Range of automatic control" (control zone) - between "Neutral" and "Lowering" posi-
tions. The beginning of lowering of the implement corresponds to the beginning of the control
zone (the number “1” on the console is the minimum working depth). The end of the control
zone corresponds to the maximum processing depth (number "7" on the console).
Switch 3 is used to switch among draft, position and depth control. To access the switch,
remove cover 5, to do this, loosen the bolt and turn the plate. The switch has the following
positions:
- "N" - Off (depth control);
- "II" – Draft control;
- "I" – Position control.
ATTENTION: BEFORE SETTING THE SWITCH TO THE SELECTED POSITION, LIFT
THE RLL TO THE UPPERMOST POSITION!
