2.7.3 Integrated indicator KD 8083
Integrated indicator KD 8083 is shown in Figure 2.7.2.
1 – annunciator of increased voltage in tractor on-board circuit (red color); 2 – engine rpm indi-
cator (needle indicator); 3 – rear PTO speed indicator in the mode of 1000 rpm (light indicator ); 4 – rear
PTO speed indicator in the mode of 540 rpm (light indicator); 5 – rear PTO rpm indication display; 6 –
LEDs, lit in the mode of movement speed indication “km/h” and total engine running hours “h” (opposite
the respective diode); 7 – LEDs, lit in the mode of programming the coefficients “К”, “R”, “Z” and LED
“Т”, lit in the mode of revised total engine running hours (opposite the respective diode); 8 – display
(LED) indicating the total engine running hours and speed of tractor movement.

The operation procedure of the integrated indicator KD 8083 is as follows:
After you set the starter and instrument switch into position “I” with the tractor stopped, display
8 (Figure 2.7.2) will show the indication of the engine running hours (h) and a diode 6 which is located
near symbol “h” will light up.
After the engine is started, engine rpm indicator 2 shows the turning frequency of the crank-
shaft. At the same time display 5 will show indication of the calculated turning frequency of the rear
PTO (rpm) – on scale 3 for the rear PTO in the mode of 1000 rpm and on scale 4 for the rear PTO
in the mode of 540 rpm. The rear PTO turning frequency shall be calculated by the signal from the
alternator phase winding.
During tractor movement display 8 indicates the calculated speed of tractor movement (km/h)
and diode 6 located near the symbol “km/h” will light up. Herewith the indication of the engine running
hours will disappear. The speed will be displayed according to the signal from the sensor installed
on the gear of the final drive of the wheel turning with a less frequency. The calculated speed is
somewhat higher than the actual one as tractor skidding is not taken into consideration.
If after 121 seconds after movement beginning or during the tractor movement symbol «□»
appears on the right side of display 8 – this means that the signal from the right speed sensor is missing.
If after 121 seconds after movement beginning or during the tractor movement symbol «□» appears on
the left side of display 8 – this means that the signal from the left speed sensor is missing. It is required
to eliminate the fault. Herewith there are no speed readings on display 8. To restore the speed readings
it is necessary to eliminate the above faults.
Annunciator 1 of increased voltage in tractor on-board circuit lights up as the voltage goes
up above 18V and goes out as the supply voltage drops below 16V. During lighting of annunciator
1, integrated indicator 1 will not function. When the voltage in tractor on-board circuit goes up above
18V, lamps for the integrated indicator illumination might break down, if they were turned on. In this
case it is required to replace the integrated indicator illumination lamps.
ATTENTION: AS THE VOLTAGE IN TRACTOR ON-BOARD CIRCUIT GOES UP ABOVE
18V THE INTEGRATED INDICATOR WILL SHUT DOWN COMPLETELY AND WILL RESTORE
ITS SERVICEABILITY WHEN THE VOLTAGE IN ON-BOARD CIRCUIT DROPS BELOW 16V!
