- place the machine (implement) symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of the tractor;
- the buckles must be attached to the second from the bottom holes of brackets 1, as shown in view
b) of Figure 3.12.5;
- check the value of lateral swing of the machine (implement), which should not exceed 20 mm in
each direction;
- to limit the swinging of the implement in each direction by no more than 20 mm, adjust the length
of buckles 2 by rotating the central part A of the buckles.
When setting the RLL in the transport position, it is necessary to fully lock the buckles in the
transport position:
- if the buckles are partially locked in the working position, then with the machine (implement) raised
to the upper position, it is necessary to shorten the length of buckles 2 as much as possible by rotating the
central part “A”. Then check the value of lateral swing of the machine (implement), which should not exceed
20 mm in each direction. If necessary, shorten the length of buckles 2 more by rotating the central part “A”;
- if the buckles are fully locked in the working position, then with the machine (implement) raised to
the upper position, the buckles become automatically locked in the transport position.
ATTENTION: WHEN MOUNTING THE FRONT ENDS OF THE LOWER LINKS ON THE LOWER
LINK AXLE (AS DELIVERED FROM THE FACTORY), IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGES, THE EXTER-
NAL TURNBUCKLES MUST ONLY BE INSTALLED ON TWO BOTTOM HOLES OF BRACKETS 1 (FIG-
URE 3.12.5)! IT IS FORBIDDED TO USE TWO UPPER HOLES OF BRACKET 1!
ATTENTION: WHEN MOUNTING THE FRONT ENDS OF THE LOWER LINKS ON ADDITIONAL
AXLES 4 (FIGURE 3.12.5), IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGES, THE EXTERNAL TURNBUCKLES MUST
ONLY BE INSTALLED ON TWO UPPER HOLES OF BRACKETS 1 (THE SECOND HOLES FROM THE
TOP ARE FOR PARTIAL LOCKING OF THE BUCKLES, THE TOP HOLES ARE FOR FULL LOCKING
OF THE BUCKLES). IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE THE TWO LOWER HOLES OF BRACKET 1!
3.12.2.1.4 Internal buckles
The internal buckle consists of bracket 1 (Figure 3.12.6), bolt 2, shackles 3, bolt 4, nut 5,
cotter pin 6 and buckle 7. During tractor operation, the internal buckles must always be locked in
one of three positions:
- full locking of buckles in the transport position;
- full locking of buckles in the working position;
- partial locking of buckles in the working position.
To fully lock the internal buckles in the transport position (the lower links are lifted up), it is
necessary to unscrew bolt 2 from bracket 1 as much as possible before lifting the RLL.
During inter-row cultivation, sowing and some other types of work, the RLL lower links
must be completely locked from transverse movements in order to avoid damage to plants when
the implement swings. To do this, it is necessary to perform a full locking of the buckles in the
working position.
To fully lock the buckles in the working position, proceed as follows:
- raise the implement on the RLL so that its working parts do not touch the ground. Mean-
while, adjusting bolts 2 must be screwed into bracket 1 against the stop;
- shorten the buckles. To do this, unscrew locknut 8. Then, turn buckle 7 clockwise until it
stops and lock the screw connection with lock nut 8.
- the swing of the locked implement must not exceed 20 mm in both directions.
When working with some implements, it is necessary to ensure the swing of the imple-
ment in each direction by at least 125 mm or by another value, in accordance with the in-
structions for using the implement. To do this, it is necessary to partially lock the buckles in
the working position.
