2.21.2 Connection of additional electrical equipment of attachable machines
To monitor the performance of the working process of attachable machines, it is al-
lowed to install monitoring and controlling equipment (control panels) in the tractor cab,
which belong to the attachable machine.
Attachable machines are equipped with various electrical and electronic components,
the operation of which may affect the readings of the tractor instruments. Therefore, the
applied electrical appliances that are included in the equipment of agricultural units must
have a certificate of electromagnetic compatibility, in accordance with international require-
ments.
You should connect the electrical equipment of attachable machines to the following
elements of the tractor electrical equipment:
1. A seven-pin socket (type 12N, GOST 9200) - the permissible current consumption
is not more than 10A, the electrical circuit is protected by a fuse in the tractor's electrical
equipment:
- "+" to terminal No. 5 of the socket;
- “–” to terminal No. 3 of the socket (it is possible to connect the power load of the
attachable machine with the marker lights of the same attachable machine turned on).
2. Two-pole socket (ISO 4165:2001), located on the body of the seven-pin socket
(terminal No. 8) - the permissible current consumption is not more than 12A, the electrical
circuit is protected by a fuse in the tractor's electrical equipment;
3. Tractor alternator.
- “+” to the “B+” terminal of the generator (terminal diameter = 6mm).
- "–" to the engine housing.
The design of the tractor provides for the following value of the electric power take-
off for supplying electricity to attachable machines (with the basic configuration of the tractor
with a 1150 W alternator, with the engine speed of at least 1500 rpm):
1. At night, with all lighting equipment turned on:
- no more than 5A, with continuous switching mode;
- no more than 20A, in the intermittent mode of switching on with the duration of
switching on less than 15% of the total operating time of the tractor;
2. Increase of the power consumption during daylight hours with the lighting equip-
ment turned off is permitted up to the following values:
- no more than 25A, with continuous switching mode;
- no more than 40A, with intermittent switching on less than 15% of the total operating
time of the tractor.
ATTENTION: IN THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT OF THE EQUIPMENT OF THE AT-
TACHABLE MACHINE CONNECTED TO THE ALTERNATOR, FUSES OF THE APPRO-
PRIATE RATE MUST BE INSTALLED!
