To work with the rear PTO, remove the protective cap 1 (Figure 4.2.1), for which you
need to unscrew two bolts 2. After finishing work with PTO, make sure to put the cap back to
its place, for which you need to put the cap on the shaft end and tighten two bolts 2.

To replace the rear PTO shaft end, do the following operations:
- undo nuts 4 and remove the assembly of casing 6 with cover 7;
- undo bolts 8 and remove plate 9;
- remove shaft end 10;
- grease the centering pilot, and install another shaft end in the spline opening;
- install plate 9, screw bolts 8 in, install casing 6 together with cover 7 and lock them
with nuts 4.
Semi-continuous side PTO has two speeds of 618 rpm and 721 rpm. The rotation
direction is counterclockwise when viewed from the shaft end face; PTO shaft end 1с under
GOST 3480 (8 splines).
To work with semi-continuous side PTO, remove the protective cap by undoing two
bolts. After finishing work with side PTO make sure to re-install the cap by putting it on the
shaft end and tightening two bolts.
ATTENTION: SEMI-CONTINUOUS SIDE PTO DISENGAGES IF THE CLUTCH PE-
DAL IS PRESSED!
ATTENTION: USE THE GROUND-SPEED DRIVE OF REAR PTO WHEN THE
TRAVEL SPEED OF THE TRACTOR UNIT DOES NOT EXCEED 8 KM/H. OTHERWISE,
THE POWERTRAIN OF THE TRACTOR CAN BE SEVERELY DAMAGED!
