The starter and instrument switch 5 (Figure 2.2.1) has four positions:
- «0» – off;
- «I» – instruments; pilot lamp units are on;
- «II» – starter is on (non-fixed position);
- «III» – radio set is on (key turned counterclockwise).
The radio set operates only in positions “I” and “III” of the starter and instrument switch.
The layout of positions of the starter and instrument switch is given in Figure 2.2.2
and on informational plate of the switch.

Multifunctional underwheel switch 1 (Figure 2.2.1) provides for activation of turn blink-
ers, switching between high and low beam of headlights, high beam blinking, audible beep:
- as you move the lever of underwheel switch 1 from or to yourself, the right and the
left turn blinkers are turned on accordingly. As the tractor has made a turn, the lever returns
to the initial position automatically.
- the audible beep is activated by pressing the lever in axial direction. The beep can be
activated in any position of underwheel switch 1.
- as the road headlights are on (button 3 is set to position “III”) and the lever of un-
derwheel switch 1 is down, the high beam gets activated, and as the road headlights are on
and the lever of the underwheel switch 1 is up – the low beam gets activated.
- as you move the lever of switch 1 from the low beam position up against the stop, the
high beam turns on for a short time (“high beam blinking, non-fixed position) irrespective of the
position of the central light switch. As you release the lever, it will return to the low beam
position automatically.
Pressing warning alarm button 2 (Figure 2.2.1) activates warning light alarm. A pilot
lamp, built into the button, flashes simultaneously with the warning flashlights. Repeated
pressing button 2 deactivates the warning alarm.
Central light switch 3 (Figure 2.2.1) has three positions:
- position “I” – “off” (upper part of the button is pressed as in Figure 2.2.1);
- position ”II” – “front and rear marker lights, license plate lights, lighting of instruments on
the dashboard and also marker lights on a trailed machine are on” (middle position);
- position “III” “all loads of position “II” and road lights are on” (lower part of the button is
pressed against the stop as in Figure 2.2.1).
Pushing button 4 (Figure 2.2.1) (non-fixed position) activates windscreen washer. Re-
leasing button 4 deactivates the windscreen washer.
