stem
When releasing the steering wheel in both
end-point positions, there is no turn-through of
the steering wheel (by 20…30mm) in the op-
posite direction due to the action of dosing
pump springs (the spool does not return to the
neutral, the pressure in charge hydraulic line
does not drop) due to the following reason:
- excessive friction or blocking up of steering
drive mechanical components
Eliminate friction in the steering column, which re-
quires the following:
- reduce rate of tightening of the upper nut;
- grease friction surfaces of plastic bushings;
- eliminate contact of cardan yokes on sides of
the steerin
g
drive column
End play between steering column splined
shank and dosing pump spool is too small or
not available
If the spline shank face protrudes more than 7.1
mm above the attachment plane of the steering
column bracket, install additional shims no more
than 1.5 mm thick between the dosing pump and
the bracket.

Gripping of sleeve with spool (perhaps due to
dirt accumulation)

nents is required. Assembly and check of operabil-
ity should be is performed only by maintenance de-
partment in accordance with manufacturer’s instruc-
