Multifunctional underwheel switch 2 (Figure 2.23.1) provides for activation of turn
blinkers, switching between upper and lower beam of headlights, upper beam blinking, au-
dible beep:
- as you move the lever of underwheel switch 2 from or to yourself, the right and the
left turn blinkers are turned on accordingly. As the tractor has made a turn the lever returns
to the initial position automatically.
- the audible beep is activated as you press the lever in axial direction. The beep operates
in any position of underwheel switch 2.
- with road headlights turned on (button 10 is set to position “III”) as you move the
lever of underwheel switch 2 down, the upper beam gets activated, while as you move the
lever of underwheel switch 2 up – the lower beam gets activated.
- as you move the lever of switch 2 from the lower beam position up against the stop, the
upper beam turns on for a short time (“upper beam blinking, non-fixed position) irrespective of
the position of the central light switch. As you release the lever it will automatically return to
the lower beam position.
Pushing the button of emergency light switch 1 (Figure 2.23.1) activates the emer-
gency light. A pilot lamp, built into the button, flashes simultaneously with the emergency
lights lights. Repeated pressing button 1 deactivates the emergency lights.
Central light switch 10 (Figure 2.23.1) has three positions:
- position “I” – “off” (upper part of the button is sunk as in Figure 2.23.1);
- position ”II” – “front and rear marker lights, license plate lights, lighting of instruments on
the dashboard and also marker lights on a trailed machine are on” (middle position);
- position “III” all loads of position “II” and road headlights are on” (lower part of the button
is pushed against the stop as in Figure 2.23.1).
As you push the button switch of the front service headlights 11 (Figure 2.23.1), two
front service lights, located on light brackets, are actuated together with a light indicator, built
into the button.
Pushing button 9 (Figure 2.23.1) (non-fixed position) turns the windscreen washer on.
Releasing button 9 turns the windscreen washer off.
The operation of instrument cluster 3 (Figure 2.23.1) used in the dashboard with a
molded panel is similar to that of a dashboard with a castable panel and is given in section
2.5.
