Defining a Protocol Port

STEP 1 Click Bridging > VLAN Management > Protocol Port. The
Protocol Port Page
opens:
Protocol Port Page
The
Protocol Port Page
contains the following fields.
Interface — Port or LAG number added to a protocol group.
Protocol Group ID — Protocol group ID to which the interface is added.
Protocol group IDs are defined in the Protocol Group Table.
VLAN ID — Attaches the interface to a user-defined VLAN ID. Protocol ports
can either be attached to a VLAN ID or a VLAN name.
STEP 2 Click the Add Button. The
Add Protocol Port to VLAN Page
opens:
The
Add Protocol Port to VLAN Page
provides parameters for adding protocol
port configurations.
