Defining UDP Relay (Layer 3)
The UDP Relay allows UDP packets to reach other networks. This feature enables
browsing from workstations to servers on different networks. This section is
applicable to Layer 3 devices only.
To define UDP Relay:
STEP 1 Click System > System Management > IP Addressing > UDP Relay. The

Defining UDP Relay Page
contains the following fields:
Source IP Interface — Indicates the input IP interface that relays UDP packets.
If this field is 255.255.255.255, UDP packets from all interfaces are relayed. The
following address ranges are
- 0.0.0.0 to 0.255.255.255.
- 127.0.0.0 to 127.255.255.255.
