Add UDP Relay Page
The
Add UDP Relay Page
contains the following fields:
Source IP Interface — Indicates the input IP interface that relays UDP packets.
If this field is 255.255.255.255, UDP packets from all interfaces are relayed. The
following address ranges are
- 0.0.0.0 to 0.255.255.255.
- 127.0.0.0 to 127.255.255.255.
UDP Destination Port— Indicate the destination UDP port ID number of the
relayed UDP packets. The following table lists UDP Port allocations
Destination Address— The IP interface that receives UDP packet relays. If this
field is 0.0.0.0, UDP packets are discarded. If this field is 255.255.255.255, UDP
packets are flooded to all IP interfaces.
STEP 3 Define the relevant fields.
STEP 4 Click Apply. The UDP Relay Settings are defined, and the device is updated.
Defining DHCP Relay (Layer 2)
The
DHCP Server Page
enables users to establish a DHCP configuration with
multiple DHCP servers to ensure redundancy.
The DHCP servers act as a DHCP relay if the parameter is not equal to 0.0.0.0.
DHCP requests are relayed only if their SEC field is greater or equal to the
threshold value. This allows local DHCP Servers to respond first.
The table on this page lists ports and LAGs on which DHCP relay has been
enabled.
