Disable
— Disables DHCP Option 82 with data insertion on the device.
This is the default value.
DHCP Server — Defines the address of the remote DHCP server to track
across the VLANs.
STEP 2 Click the Add button. The

Add DHCP Server Page
contains the following field:
Support IP Format — Provides the supported IP format: Version 6 or Version 4.
DHCP Server IP Address — Defines the DHCP server IP address.
STEP 3 Specify the IP address of the server.
STEP 4 Click Apply. DHCP is enabled , and the device is updated.
ARP
The
Address Resolution Protocol
(ARP) is the method for finding a host’s Link
Layer (MAC) address when only its Internet Layer (IP) address is known. The ARP
table is used to maintain a correlation between each MAC address and its
corresponding IP address. The ARP table can be filled in statically by the user.
When a static ARP entry is defined, a permanent entry is put in the table, which the
system uses to translate IP addresses to MAC addresses.
