Defining Dynamic ARP Inspection

— Disable ARP Inspection Validation on the device. This is
the default value.
Log Buffer Interval — Defines the minimal interval between successive Syslog
messages. The possible field values are:

Retry Frequency
— Frequency at which the log is updated. The possible
range is 0-86400 seconds. 0 seconds specifies immediate
transmissions of Syslog messages. The default value is 5 seconds.

Never
— Log is never updated.
STEP 2 Define the relevant fields,
STEP 3 Click Apply. The ARP Inspection Properties are defined, and the device is
updated.
Defining ARP Inspection Trusted Interfaces
The
ARP Inspection Trusted Interfaces Page
allows network managers to define
trusted and untrusted interfaces. These settings are independent of the trusted
interface settings defined for DHCP snooping. ARP Inspection is enabled only on
untrusted interfaces.
