STEP 1 Click Quality of Service > Basic Mode. The

Basic Mode Page
The
Basic Mode Page
contains the following fields:
Trust Mode — Displays the trust mode. If a packet’s CoS tag and DSCP tag, are
mapped to different queues, the Trust Mode determines the queue to which
the packet is assigned. Possible values are:
-
CoS
— Sets trust mode to CoS on the device. The CoS mapping
determines the packet queue
-
DSCP
— Sets trust mode to DSCP on the device. The DSCP mapping
determines the packet queue.
Always Rewrite DSCP — Rewrites the packet DSCP tag according to the QoS
DSCP Rewriting configuration.
Always Rewrite DSCP
can only be selected if
the Trust Mode is set to
DSCP
.
Rewriting DSCP Values
In the
DSCP Mapping Page
, define the Differentiated Services Code Point
(DSCP) tag to use in place of the incoming DSCP tags.
