5.2.1.2 set spantree
Use this command to globally enable or disable the Spanning Tree algorithm on the switch.
set spantree {disable | enable}
Syntax Description
Command Defaults
None.
Command Mode
Read-Write.
Example
This example shows how to enable Spanning Tree on the device:
Cost Cost value assigned to the port.
Priority Port’s Spanning Tree priority.
NOTE: By default, Spanning Tree is enabled (globally and on all ports.) To display the
current status of Spanning Tree on the device or on one or more ports, use the show
spantree stats command as described in Section 5.2.1.1.
disable | enable Globally disables or enables Spanning Tree.
Matrix>set spantree enable
Spanning Tree Algorithm enabled.
