5.2.2.1 set spantree portadmin
Use this command to enable or disable the Spanning Tree algorithm on one or more ports.
set spantree portadmin port_string {enable | disable}

Example
This example shows how to disable Spanning Tree on front panel port 12:
port_string Specifies the port(s) for which to enable or disable
Spanning Tree. For a detailed description of possible
port_string values, refer to Section 4.1.2.
enable | disable Enables or disables Spanning Tree.
Matrix>set spantree portadmin ge.0.12 disable
Success setting spanning tree protocol to DISABLE for port ge.0.12.
