5.2.2.3 show spantree portpri
Use this command to show the Spanning Tree priority for one or more ports. If the path cost for all
ports on a device is the same, the port with the highest priority (i.e., lowest value) will be configured
as an active link in the Spanning Tree. When more than one port is assigned the highest priority, the
port with the lowest numeric identifier will be enabled.
show spantree portpri port_string
Syntax Description
Command Defaults
None.
Command Mode
Read-Only.
Example
This example shows how to display the port priority for front panel port 3:
port_string Specifies the port(s) for which to display Spanning Tree
priority. For a detailed description of possible port_string
values, refer to Section 4.1.2.
Matrix>show spantree portpri ge.0.3
Port priority = 128 for port ge.0.3
