9.2.3.3 clear arp
Use this command to delete a specific entry or all entries from the ARP table.
clear arp [hostname or A.B.C.D]
Syntax Description
Command Defaults
If hostname is not specified, all ARP entries will be cleared.
Command Mode
Read-Write.
Example
This example shows how to delete entry 10.1.10.10 from the ARP table.
hostname or
A.B.C.D
(Optional) Specifies the IP address in the ARP table to be
cleared. An IP alias or host name that can be resolved through
the DNS can be specified instead of an IP address.
Matrix>clear arp 10.1.10.10
10.1.10.10 (10.1.10.10) deleted
