Command Mode
Interface Configuration
Default
The interface has no description by default.
Usage
Use this command to set the description on the interface.
Examples
The following example sets the description on the interface:
Switch(config)# interface eth-0-1
Switch(config-if-eth-0-1)# description Ethernet
The following example deletes the description on the interface:
Switch(config)# interface eth-0-1
Switch(config-if-eth-0-1)# no description
