18.27 delete
To delete a file on the flash, use the delete command in Privileged EXEC mode.
Command Syntax
delete STRING
STRING
File name for delete

Usage
If you attempt to delete the configuration file or image, the system prompts you to confirm
the deletion.
Examples
The following example deletes the file named test from the flash:
Switch# delete flash:/test
Are you sure to delete flash:/test? [no]y
