Command Syntax
service password-encryption
no service password-encryption

Usage
After use this command, the password in the display result of “show current-configuration”
should be encrypted.
After use the no form of this command, the newly added password in the display result of
“show current-configuration” should be plain text and the existing password should still be
encrypted.
Examples
The following example shows how to set service password-encryption:
Switch(config)# service password-encryption
The following example shows how to unset service password-encryption:
Switch(config)# no service password-encryption
