8.4.2 Starting the task
I Read the accompanying documentation supplied with the expansion
card before proceeding.
Ê Perform the following procedures:
1. "Opening the rack door" on page 40
2. "Sliding the server out of the rack" on page 42
3. "Removing the rear cover" on page 46
4. If applicable: "Mounting expansion card slot brackets" on page 107
5. If applicable: "Preparing the SFP+ transceiver module" on page 115
8.4.3 Pulling the removal tool out of the slot

Ê Open the slot to be fitted (1).
