9.2.4 Removing the CPUMEMR

Ê Press the green buttons (1).
Ê Lift the handles (2) to disconnect the CPUMEMR from the baseboard.
Ê Carefully pull the CPUMEMR up and out (3).
9.2.5 Reinstalling a new CPUMEMR
Ê Populate the DIMM memory module slots:
1. Cross-check the DIMM memory module configuration of the faulty
CPUMEMR, see "Selecting the DIMM memory module slot" on
page 192.
2. Insert all needed DIMM memory modules, see "Inserting the DIMM
memory module in the slot" on page 194.
Ê Reinstall the CPUMEMR:
1. Cross-check the CPUMEMR configuration of the faulty CPUMEMR, see
"Selecting the CPUMEMR slot" on page 184.
2. Insert the CPUMEMR, see "Inserting the CPUMEMR in the slot" on
page 186.
