14.1.2 Starting the task
Ê Perform the following procedures:
1. "Opening the rack door" on page 40
2. "Shutting down the server" on page 41
3. "Sliding the server out of the rack" on page 42
4. "Removing the rear cover" on page 46
5. Remove the PCI Riser, see "Expansion cards and BBU" on page 105
14.1.3 Replacing the faulty battery

Ê Press the locking spring into direction of the arrow (1), so that the lithium
battery jumps out of its socket.
Ê Remove the battery (2).
Ê Insert a new lithium battery of the same type into the socket (3) and (4).
Ê Dispose of the waste battery as described above.
