8.4.8 Activating the expansion card
Ê Activate the expansion card using either the related PCI hot-plug software
or by pressing the light-pipe switch, see A in figure 69.
The light-pipe switch flashes green. The slot is in the enable sequence.
Ê Wait until the light-pipe switch is constantly green.
The slot is now powered on.
I If the light-pipe switch continues to flash, an error has occurred.
Remove the expansion card and repeat the procedure as described
above.
8.4.9 Completing the task
Ê Perform the following procedures to complete the task:
1. "Installing the rear cover" on page 48
2. "Mounting the server in the rack" on page 49
3. "Closing the rack door" on page 51
