Button Test
This test verifies the operator panel button function.
To run this test:
1. Navigate to HARDWARE TESTS > Button Test.
2. An image of the operator panel buttons appears on the LCD. Press each operator panel button, and see if
its corresponding button on the LCD darkens.
3. Touch Back to return to HARDWARE TESTS.
DRAM Test
This test checks the validity of DRAM, both standard and optional. The test writes patterns of data to DRAM to
verify that each bit in memory can be set and read correctly.
To run this test:
1. Navigate to HARDWARE TESTS > DRAM Test.
2. DRAM Test Testing appears.
3. The printer initiates a POR and Resetting the Printer appears.
4. After POR, the printer begins testing the memory. DRAM Test 512MB P:###### F:#### appears.
P:###### represents the number of times the memory test has passed and finished successfully. Initially,
000000 displays with the maximum pass count being 99,999.
F:##### represents the number of times the memory test has failed and finished with errors. Initially, 0000
displays with the maximum fail count being 99,999.
5. Once all the memory is tested, the test stops.
To stop the test, POR the printer.
USB HS Test Mode
To run the test:
1. Navigate to HARDWARE TESTS > USB HS Test Mode.
2. Select a port (Port 0, Port 1, Port 2, Port 3, Single Step Get Device Descriptor, or Single Step Set Feature).
3. Select a test (Test J, Test K, Test SE0 NAK, Test Packet, or Test Force Enable).
4. USB High Speed Certification Testing appears.
5. To stop the test, POR the printer.
