3. Configure the user’s password.
4. Add the user to the group.
Web Interface: Create Users and Groups
1. Create a group.
a. Select Security > Control > Captive Portal > CP Group Configuration.
A screen similar to the following displays.
b. Enter the following information:
• In the Group ID field, select 2.
• In the Group Name field, enter Group2.
c. Click Add.
2. Create a user.
a. Select Security > Control > Captive Portal > CP User Configuration.
(Netgear Switch) (Config-CP)#user 2 password
Enter password (8 to 64 characters): 12345678
Re-enter password: 12345678
(Netgear Switch) (Config-CP)#user 2 group 2
